Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ClipVault mobile app and the clipvault.app website (together, the "Service"), operated by Cyberflux Enterprises Private Limited ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What ClipVault is

ClipVault lets you save links to short-form videos and posts (such as Instagram reels, YouTube shorts, and TikTok posts) and automatically turns them into organised, AI-generated notes, with titles, summaries, and tags, that you can search, group into collections, and optionally share.

2. Eligibility & your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use ClipVault.
• You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. Subscriptions & billing

• ClipVault offers a free tier and an optional paid subscription ("ClipVault Pro").
• Subscriptions are purchased and billed through Google Play Billing. We do not process or store your payment details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Google Play account (Settings → Manage Subscription in the app links you there).
• Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policies.
• Prices may change; we will give notice of material changes in line with Google Play's requirements.

4. Your content

• You retain ownership of the links, notes, collections, and other content you create or save in ClipVault ("Your Content").
• You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, including sending saved URLs to our content-extraction service to generate titles, summaries, and tags.
• You are responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the right to save and share it.
• If you share a collection via a view-only link, you are responsible for what you choose to make publicly accessible through that link.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Save, store, or share content that is illegal, infringing, or violates the rights of others.
• Violate the terms of service of any third-party platform (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) whose content you save.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' data.
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

6. Third-party content & platforms

ClipVault helps you save and organise links to content hosted on third-party platforms. We do not own that content and are not responsible for it. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own terms and policies. Connecting a third-party account (such as Instagram) is optional and you may disconnect it at any time.

7. Intellectual property

The ClipVault app, website, branding, and software are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. AI-generated titles, summaries, and tags may be inaccurate or incomplete, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that saved content will always remain available from its source.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or content, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms it or other users.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, with notice inside the app. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
